Abstract

The paper deals with the problematic of designing mix use high rise architecture in a Danish context. Functionally and high architecture quality are incorporated to achieve contemporary design solution. A solution that takes the advantages of building high and having a mix use of function. The design thereby creates a new type of high rise. The fi nal design is more that impressing icon of glass and steel. The design contains multiple layers many of which only become visible in a deeper analysis of the composition of the building.
