Abstract
Denne rapport præsenterer det afsluttende projekt på kandidatuddannelsen i arkitektonisk design af Ana Catarina Cabral, udarbejdet på Aalborg Universitet fra september til december 2011. Rapporten beskriver udformningen af en ny boligbygning i Setúbals historiske centrum i Portugal. Projektets mål er at tiltrække unge og unge familier tilbage til området og støtte bæredygtig vækst samt langsigtet vedligeholdelse af denne del af byen. Et centralt element er en kontekstanalyse, der undersøger områdets udvikling over tid og den nuværende situation, så bygningsdesignet passer til stedet og dets behov.
This report presents the final project for the Master’s in Architectural Design by Ana Catarina Cabral, completed at Aalborg University from September to December 2011. It outlines the design of a new residential building in the historic center of Setúbal, Portugal.
