Abstract
This report documents the work related to the final project of the master in Architectural Design of the student Ana Catarina Cabral, from September to December of 2011, at Aalborg University, Denmark. The report describes the design process of a new building, placed in the historic centre of Setúbal, Portugal. The project consist in a new residential building for the area, aiming to attract youngs and young families back to the place and encourage a sustainable growth and maintenance of this part of the city. There has been a great focus in the context analysis, in order to have a good understanding of the development of the place over the years until the current situation.
