Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger, hvordan servicedesign (planlægning af, hvordan en service leveres) og samarbejdsbaseret læring (at lære ved at arbejde sammen) kan bruges til at tilpasse en AI Design Sprint-workshop til børn. Vi tager udgangspunkt i 33A's eksisterende AI Design Sprint, der er udviklet til at hjælpe virksomheder med i fællesskab at tage skridt mod at bruge AI, og bruger det som case i perioden februar til maj 2020. 33A's mål er at gøre AI tilgængelig for mennesker og virksomheder og at udvide workshoppen til uddannelsesområdet. Med en servicedesignproces kortlagde vi workshoppens brugerrejse (den trin-for-trin oplevelse) ved hjælp af kvalitative metoder, servicedesignværktøjer og teori om samarbejdsbaseret læring. Et brugerrejsekort (en visuel kortlægning) gav os indblik i deltagernes oplevelser, samarbejdsbehov og motivation på tværs af kontaktpunkter (vigtige interaktionsmomenter) styret af en facilitator. På baggrund af disse indsigter foreslår vi et servicekoncept, der bygger videre på den eksisterende workshop ved at tilføje trin og kontaktpunkter og integrere elementer fra samarbejdsbaseret læring med fokus på tilpasning til børn og stærkere samarbejde. Vi fandt, at børn ofte har udfordringer med gruppearbejde, hvilket kan hæmme problemløsning med AI. Derfor indeholder konceptet tydeligere guidning og instruktion gennem hele AI Design Sprint-forløbet for at støtte teamsamarbejde og forbedre den samlede oplevelse. Vi testede den tilpassede brugerrejse sammen med 33A i maj 2020 under en fjern, online AI Design Sprint-workshop for børn. Vi leverede forslaget som en produktrapport, der viser, hvordan de nye kontaktpunkter kan integreres i den eksisterende servicerejse, og hvilken værdi de kan give både brugere og serviceudbyder. Specialet reflekterer desuden over servicedesignprocessen og drøfter, hvordan resultaterne kan være relevante.
This thesis explores how service design (planning how a service is delivered) and collaborative learning (learning by working together) can be used to adapt an AI Design Sprint workshop for children. We study 33A's existing AI Design Sprint, developed to help companies take steps toward using AI together, and use it as a case from February to May 2020. 33A's goal is to make AI accessible to people and businesses, and to extend the workshop into education. Using a service design process, we mapped the user journey (the step-by-step experience) of the workshop with qualitative methods, service design tools, and collaborative learning theory. A journey map helped us understand participants' experience, collaboration needs, and motivation across touchpoints (key moments of interaction) guided by a facilitator. Based on these insights, we propose a service concept that builds on the existing workshop by adding steps and touchpoints and by integrating elements from collaborative learning, with a focus on customization for children and stronger collaboration. We found that children often struggle with group work, which can hinder solving problems with AI. The concept therefore includes clearer guidance and instructions throughout the AI Design Sprint to support teamwork and improve the overall experience. We tested the customized user journey with 33A in May 2020 during a remote online AI Design Sprint workshop for children. We delivered the proposal as a product report showing how the new touchpoints can be integrated into the existing service journey and the value they may provide for both users and the service provider. The thesis also reflects on the service design process and discusses the relevance of the findings.
