Abstract
Dette speciale er en undersøgelse og demonstration af, hvordan service-design metoder og værktøjer kan anvendes i event organisationer, specielt til at løse problemet for samarbejdspartneren Karneval i Aalborg. Projektet analyserer den foreslåede problemstilling og skaber en mulig løsning baseret på brugernes og virksomhedens indsigt. Den oplevede problem handler om deltagernes støtte af begivenheden. Problemformuleringen for specialet er: Hvordan kan Karnevallet i Aalborg forbedres gennem servicedesign metoder, med det formål at øge værdien af at støtte karneval og gennem dette give deltagerne incitament til at støtte? Løsningen på problemet er et co-kreativt system, der gør det muligt for de berørte parter til at skabe værdi for deltagerne i gensidige forening. Hovedfokus for projektet derfor de forskellige interessenter, men også fokus på målgruppen af karneval - unge i Aalborg. Denne afhandling er præsenteret i to rapporter: præsentation og proces rapport. Præsentationen beskriver den endelige løsning rettet mod samarbejdspartneren (Karneval i Aalborgs organisation) i mellemtiden processen rapport viser processen for at besvare, hvorfor denne løsning blev foreslået.
This master thesis is an investigation and demonstration of how service design methods and tools can be applied in event organizations, specifically to solve the problem of the collaboration partner Carnival in Aalborg. The project analyses the proposed problem and synthesize a possible solution based on user and company insights. The experienced problem is regarding the participants support of the event. The problem statement of the master thesis is: How can Carnival in Aalborg be improved through service design methodology, with the goal of increasing the value of supporting the carnival and through this give participants incentive to support? The solution to the problem is a co-creative system that enables stakeholders to create value for the participants in mutual association. The main focus of the project is therefore on the different stakeholders but also focusing on the target group of the carnival - young people in Aalborg. This thesis is presented in two reports: presentation and process report. The presentation describes the final solution targeting the collaboration partner (Carnival in Aalborgs organisation) meanwhile the process report is showing the process to answer why this solution was proposed.
