Abstract

Dette speciale i industriel design ved Aalborg Universitet undersøger, hvordan musik kan afspilles trådløst i flere rum i danske hjem gennem en brugerdrevet designproces. Vi har analyseret brugernes musikvaner og måder at bruge produkter og højtalere på for at skabe en løsning, der passer til hverdagen. Resultatet er et multiroom-system, hvor musikken kan streames trådløst til flere rum, og hvor man betjener selve højtaleren — herunder valg af kilde (hvad der skal spilles) og justering af lydstyrke. Forslaget samler tekniske og funktionelle krav i én helhed og præsenterer en ny type højtaler, der kan passe ind i forskellige rum og situationer i danske hjem.

This master’s thesis in Industrial Design at Aalborg University examines how music can be played wirelessly in multiple rooms in Danish homes using a user-centered design approach. We studied people’s music habits and how they use products and speakers to create a solution that fits everyday life.
