Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger implementeringen af bæredygtighedsinitiativet Netværk for Grøn Detail i Vodskov Erhvervsforening og de muligheder, som netværksbaseret læring giver for at udvikle strategiske tiltag i Vodskov og Aalborg Kommune. Baggrunden er, at Aalborg Kommune har etableret Netværk for Grøn Detail for at styrke virksomheders bæredygtige udvikling, mens status og strategi for indsatsen opleves som uklare blandt virksomhederne i Vodskov. Med Etienne Wengers begreb om Communities of Practice som teoretisk ramme og et kvalitativt forskningsdesign forankret i kulturantropologi og fænomenologi anvendes litteraturstudier, semistrukturerede interviews, workshopaktiviteter og en vox pop med borgere til at belyse praksisser, opfattelser og strategiske muligheder. Analysen peger på, at Vodskov Erhvervsforening udgør et stærkt og sammenhængende netværk med vilje til forandring, hvilket er gunstigt for bæredygtige indsatser. Desuden viser studiet, at forretningsnetværk kan fremme videndeling, innovation og bæredygtig udvikling ved at anvende Wengers principper som ramme for læring i netværk. På den baggrund diskuteres muligheder for at styrke samarbejde og læring i netværket som grundlag for fremtidige bæredygtige strategier.
This thesis examines the implementation of the sustainable development initiative Network for Green Retail (Netværk for Grøn Detail) in the Vodskov business association and explores how network-based learning can support strategic action in Vodskov and Aalborg Municipality. Aalborg Municipality launched the initiative to advance sustainable development among local businesses, yet the current status and strategy are perceived as unclear by firms in Vodskov. Using Etienne Wenger’s Communities of Practice as the theoretical lens and a qualitative research design grounded in cultural anthropology and phenomenology, the study combines literature reviews, semi-structured interviews, workshop activities, and a vox pop with citizens to illuminate prevailing practices, perceptions, and strategic options. The analysis indicates that Vodskov Erhvervsforening is a strong, well-connected network with a willingness to change, which is advantageous for sustainability initiatives. It also shows that business networks can enhance knowledge sharing, innovation, and sustainable development by applying Wenger’s principles as a framework for learning in networks. These insights inform ways to strengthen collaboration and learning as a basis for future sustainable strategies.
