Abstract
This report documents the development of a range of systems that enable home automation systems to be integrated and exposed to the Web. Requirements for the systems are elicited. Various implementation strategies are considered. The terminology pertaining to the strategies is explored and explained. The strate- gies are compared, and an informed choice between them is made. Two home automation simulation systems is developed. They are exposed and integrated using the chosen implementation strategy and developed according to the elicited requirements.
