Abstract

Dette projekt undersøger, hvordan man kan opbygge et identitetsstyringssystem, der fungerer med decentraliserede identifikatorer (DID'er) og en decentral offentlig nøgleinfrastruktur (DPKI). DID'er gør det muligt at bevise, hvem man er, med kryptografiske nøgler uden at være afhængig af en enkelt myndighed, og DPKI er mekanismen, der forvalter disse nøgler på en distribueret måde. Vores system, DIdMS (Decentralized Identity Management System), er sat i kontekst af, hvordan brugere interagerer med onlinetjenester. Målet var at udvikle et koncept og en proof-of-concept, der understøtter Self-sovereign identity (SSI), hvor den enkelte selv kontrollerer sin digitale identitet. Vi analyserede tre centrale scenarier for at udlede krav. På den baggrund byggede vi en lille prototype, som viser, hvordan brugere kan præsentere deres identiteter for tjenesteudbydere med DIdMS i overensstemmelse med principperne for SSI og relevante regler.

This project examines how to build an identity management system that works with decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and a decentralized public key infrastructure (DPKI). DIDs let people prove who they are with cryptographic keys without relying on a single authority, and DPKI is the mechanism that manages those keys in a distributed way. Our system, called DIdMS (Decentralized Identity Management System), focuses on how users interact with online services. The goal was to develop a concept and proof-of-concept that supports self-sovereign identity (SSI), where individuals control their own digital identity. We analyzed three key scenarios to derive requirements. Based on these, we built a small prototype that demonstrates how users can present their identities to service providers with DIdMS, in line with SSI principles and relevant regulations.
