Abstract
Der er et hul i markedet for rengøringsvogne, der kan opbevares på meget lidt plads. Mange virksomheder foretrækker vogne frem for spande, fordi spandearbejde belaster medarbejderne og er mindre effektivt, men vogne fravælges ofte på grund af deres opbevaringsbehov. Projektet adresserer dette ved at designe en kompakt rengøringsvogn, der passer i små depoter og understøtter sunde, effektive arbejdsgange. Udviklingen kombinerede markedsundersøgelse, brugerobservationer og løbende prototyper. There is a gap in the market for cleaning carts that can be stored in very limited spaces. Many companies prefer carts over buckets because bucket-based cleaning strains staff and is less efficient, yet carts are often rejected due to their storage size. This project addresses that need by designing a compact cleaning cart that fits small storage rooms while supporting healthy, efficient work practices. The development combined market research, user observations, and ongoing prototyping. Eight different perspectives around the cart were examined to clarify and balance their interests; these were translated into design criteria that guided decisions throughout the process. A wide range of cleaning situations was observed, and the data was analyzed using the AEIOU and ELITO methods—structured approaches for organizing observations and turning insights into design criteria. Prototypes were used throughout to test and validate the principles and concepts.
