Denne afhandling undersøger samspillet mellem danskere og udlændinge i landbrugssektoren i Norddanmark med fokus på de udfordringer, som interkulturel kommunikation kan medføre. Undersøgelsen bygger på kvalitative data fra individuelle interviews, en fokusgruppe og caseeksempler. Materialet analyseres med en refleksiv tilgang og med udgangspunkt i socialkonstruktivistiske teorier, som ser sociale forhold og forståelser som noget, der skabes i samspil mellem mennesker. Formålet er at belyse, hvordan kulturelle forskelle påvirker kommunikationen i landbruget, og hvordan disse forskelle håndteres i praksis.

This thesis explores the interactions between Danes and foreigners in the agricultural sector in Northern Denmark, focusing on the challenges of intercultural communication. The study draws on qualitative data from individual interviews, a focus group, and case examples. The material is analyzed using a reflective approach and social constructivist theories, which view social realities and meanings as created through human interaction. The aim is to shed light on how cultural differences shape communication in agriculture and how these differences are addressed in practice.
