Abstract

This thesis presents a design proposal for a church in Ørestad South, near Copenhagen. The project explores how light, sound, and materiality shape the atmosphere and experience of the space. Light is considered for mood and orientation, sound for clarity and resonance, and materials for their texture, warmth, and durability. Together, these elements support a welcoming and contemplative church environment.
