Abstract
Dette projekt omhandler designet af et nyt rådhus til Viborg. Der er i designet blevet arbejdet med en synergi mellem demokrati, bæredygtighed og kontekst. Fokus har derfor været at skabe et demokratisk rådhus, der er bæredygtigt i forhold til brugerne, konteksten og miljøet. Dette har resulteret i et rådhus, der foruden at være et demokratisk vartegn for Viborg, også lever op til lavenergiklasse 1 uden at gå på kompromis med indeklimaet.
This project deals with the design of a new city hall for Viborg. The design focuses on a synergy between democracy, sustainability and context. The vision for this project has therefore been to create a democratic city hall that has a sustainable relationship towards the user, the context and the environment. This has resulted in a city hall that works as a democratic landmark for the municipality of Viborg, which obtains a “low energy class 1” (according to the Danish Building Code) classification without compromising the indoor climate.
