Abstract

Denne rapport undersøger ventilerede vinduer, altså vinduesløsninger der tillader kontrolleret luftgennemstrømning, for at forbedre energieffektiviteten i både kolde og varme perioder. Vi analyserer syv forskellige designscenarier for at identificere, hvilke faktorer der mest påvirker energigevinster og -tab, herunder rudesammensætning, placering af low-E (lavemissivitets) belægninger samt solafskærmningens position og type. På baggrund af disse indsigter optimerer vi designene og beregner energibalancen (forskellen mellem energigevinster og -tab). Vi anvender en enkel beregningsmetode sammen med simulationsværktøjer for at sammenligne resultater og afprøve løsninger. Til sidst anvendes den enkle metode på en reel bygning for at finde den mest egnede vinduesløsning over et helt år.

This report investigates ventilated windows, window systems that allow controlled airflow, to improve energy efficiency in both cold and warm seasons. We analyze seven design scenarios to identify the factors that most affect energy gains and losses, including pane configuration, the placement of low-emissivity (low-E) coatings, and the position and type of shading devices. Based on these insights, we optimize the designs and calculate the energy balance (the difference between energy gains and losses). A simple calculation method is used together with simulation tools to compare results and test solutions. Finally, the simple method is applied to a real building to determine the most suitable window option over a full year.
