Abstract
Droner bruges i stigende grad uden for militæret og har potentiale i brandslukning. Denne rapport undersøger, hvordan droner kan blive et praktisk aktiv for Falck Fire Services, og hvilke forhold der former en sikker og effektiv anvendelse. Undersøgelsen bygger på kvalitative, semistrukturerede interviews, gennemført både ansigt til ansigt og via e-mail, med beslutningstagere hos Falck Fire Services. Interviewene indfanger ekspertvurderinger af den nuværende status for droneanvendelse, forventede gevinster, mulige anvendelser, begrænsninger og fremtidige muligheder. Derudover gennemgås lovgivningsudviklingen i flere EU-lande, og der vurderes, om eksisterende dronetyper kan opfylde krav til brandslukningsopgaver.
