Abstract
Specialet undersøger beviset for den stærke perfekte grafsætning, en sætning i grafteori om grafer (netværk af punkter og forbindelser). Arbejdet bygger på artiklen 'The strong Perfect Graph Theorem' af Maria Chudnovsky, Neil Robortson, Paul Sanders og Robin Thomas, indsendt til publicering i oktober 2002. Der findes desuden et særskilt appendiks til specialet.
This thesis examines the proof of the strong perfect graph theorem, a theorem in graph theory about graphs (networks of points and connections). The work is based on the article 'The strong Perfect Graph Theorem' by Maria Chudnovsky, Neil Robortson, Paul Sanders, and Robin Thomas, submitted for publication in October 2002. A separate appendix accompanies the thesis.
