Abstract
Ilulissat, en lille by, modtager flere turister.
Ilulissat, a small town, is receiving more visitors. This growth brings both benefits and pressures: it affects the local environment, the economy, and everyday life. The thesis suggests using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11—Sustainable Cities and Communities—as a practical framework. SDG 11 sets goals to make towns inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. Applying these guidelines can help balance tourism with protection of the environment and cultural heritage, while supporting economic development and improving residents’ quality of life.
