Abstract
Dette kandidatspeciale fra Aalborg Universitet, Arkitektur & Design, udvikler et hospice i Tornby Klitplantage i Danmark. Den rå og smukke natur i området er et bærende greb i projektet. Et integreret hospice-dagcenter gør det muligt at tilbyde palliativ omsorg som et ambulant tilbud (uden overnatning). Palliativ omsorg handler om at lindre symptomer og støtte livskvalitet ved alvorlig sygdom. Dette peger mod fremtidens hospice med større fokus på ambulante tilbud. Arkitekturen søger en tæt forbindelse til naturen, en hjemlig stemning og ro og understreger, hvordan arbejde med sanserne—fx lys, lyd, duft og berøring—kan fungere som et vigtigt designparameter i hospicearkitektur.
This master’s thesis from Aalborg University’s Architecture & Design program proposes a hospice in Tornby Klitplantage, Denmark.
