Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger, hvordan teambuilding tager form i praksis, når det forstås som en sammenfletning mellem event- og konsulentvirksomheden Uhrehøjes praksisser, faciliteter og skovlokation, metoden Apparatus of Material Storytelling, seks folkeskolelærere fra 10. Klassecenter Vesthimmerland, to instruktører og selve specialets undersøgelse. Spørgsmålet er, hvilke implikationer denne måde at arrangere teambuilding på har for alle parter i "mellem’et". Specialet nyfortolker Uhrehøjes teambuildingpraksis gennem Co‑operative Inquiry (en deltagerbaseret forskningsproces, hvor deltagere og forsker undersøger sammen) og Anete Strands (2012) Apparatus of Material Storytelling. Denne tilgang kombinerer fortællinger om rum (inspireret af Feng Shui), kroppe (Bodynamic) og artefakter (Sandplay) for at bruge omgivelser, bevægelse og genstande som afsæt for refleksion. Arbejdet er informeret af agential realisme (Barad), herunder begreber som entanglement og intra‑aktion, som betoner, at mennesker, ting og steder gensidigt former hinanden. Der blev arrangeret en dag i skoven for seks lærere, faciliteret af to instruktører. This thesis explores how team building takes shape in practice when it is understood as an entanglement of the event and consultancy company Uhrehøje’s practices, facilities and forest location; the Apparatus of Material Storytelling; six elementary school teachers from 10. Klassecenter Vesthimmerland; two instructors; and the thesis project itself. It asks what this way of arranging team building implies for everyone involved in this shared “between.” The study reconfigures Uhrehøje’s team-building practice through Co‑operative Inquiry (a participatory research process in which participants and researcher investigate together) and Anete Strand’s (2012) Apparatus of Material Storytelling. This approach combines stories of space (inspired by Feng Shui), bodies (Bodynamic), and artefacts (Sandplay) to use settings, movement and objects as prompts for reflection. The work is informed by agential realism (Barad), including ideas such as entanglement and intra‑action, which emphasize that people, things and places mutually shape one another. An event was organized in a forest for six teachers, facilitated by two instructors. Because of recent changes in team structures at their organization, the teachers saw the session as a chance to be outdoors together and receive varied input for their collaboration. Using a multimodal constitutive analysis (Højgaard, Søndergaard), the thesis selects three exercises and follows three teachers to trace their dis/continuous becoming—how their professional and personal identities develop over time. In this framework, a “team” includes not only the people but also the bodies, artefacts and spaces they intra‑act with. Seen this way, team building works as an apparatus for noticing how staff members are folded and refolded—professionally and personally—through the interplay of practices, material settings and participants.
