Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger, hvordan automatisering af Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) påvirker implementeringseffektivitet, skalerbarhed, ressourceudnyttelse og sikkerhedsstyring. Med udgangspunkt i en Kubernetes-baseret casestudie af Open Bank Project kombineres en omfattende litteraturanalyse med praktisk validering, hvor automatiserede pipelines sammenlignes med manuelle udrulningsprocesser. Undersøgelsen adresserer et centralt spørgsmål i DevOps: Forbedrer automatisering softwareleverancer primært gennem hastighedsgevinster eller gennem større procespålidelighed og konsistens? Metodisk fokuseres der på mål for leveringseffektivitet og driftspålidelighed samt governance-aspekter som IAM/RBAC og sikker håndtering af secrets. De indledende fund peger på beskedne forbedringer i ressourceeffektivitet, men markant bedre konsistens, som muliggør hyppigere udrulninger og kortere lead times. This thesis examines how Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation affects deployment efficiency, scalability, resource utilization, and security governance.
