Dette speciale undersøger empowerment-processen i det lokale miljøprojekt Miljøambassadørerne, koordineret af Miljøpunkt Amager, som uddanner borgere til at handle mere miljøvenligt og dele viden i lokalsamfundet. Formålet er at belyse, hvordan facilitering og borgerdeltagelse former mulighederne for indflydelse og vedvarende engagement. Caset er analyseret gennem teorier om kommunikativ planlægning og empowerment, der både fremhæver betydningen af deltagelse og udforsker magtforhold mellem aktører. Studiet bygger på et kvalitativt design med semistrukturerede interviews med Miljøpunkt Amager og både nuværende og tidligere miljøambassadører, spørgeskema til kursusdeltagere samt deltagerobservation; forskeren deltog selv i uddannelsesforløbet. Analysen peger på, at Miljøpunkt Amagers facilitering til en vis grad understøtter borgernes muligheder for deltagelse og indflydelse. This thesis examines the empowerment process within the local environmental project Environmental Ambassadors, coordinated by Miljøpunkt Amager, which trains residents to act more sustainably and share knowledge within the community. The aim is to understand how facilitation and citizen participation shape opportunities for influence and sustained engagement.
