Abstract

Denne kandidatafhandling fremlægger et forslag til at omdanne The Boatyard i Skive, Danmark. Området oversvømmes flere gange om året, hvilket gør jorden porøs og vanskelig at køre på og besværliggør manøvrering med tunge køretøjer og både. Projektet undersøger, hvordan stedet kan tilpasses stigende havniveauer ved at bruge vand som et aktivt designelement—noget, der ledes og imødekommes—frem for kun at holde det ude. Målet er at forbedre hverdagsbrug og samtidig ændre opfattelsen af oversvømmelser: fra naturkatastrofe til en bevidst, håndterbar gestus i landskabet.
