Abstract
This thesis explores how to tailor an agile project management framework for two small Colombian companies: Canned Head Studios (software development) and Diip (film post-production, a process similar to software development). Motivated by the proliferation of agile methods and debate that pure Scrum improves quality and requirements but not cost or time, the study develops a tailoring approach grounded in the literature and supported by a case study. The aim is to identify which project management methodologies, when combined, best address the companies’ project management challenges. The findings indicate that integrating Scrum with Lean Software Development is the most beneficial option for these cases, aligning with statements in the literature and highlighting needs for further research discussed in the thesis.
