Abstract
Sundhedspersonale beder ofte forældre til børn med ADHD om at registrere daglige forhold som medicinindtag, adfærdshændelser og bivirkninger. Mange oplever, at det er svært at gøre konsekvent. For at støtte forældrene har vi udviklet mobilappen LogMe, som gør registreringen enkel og samlet ét sted. I denne afhandling undersøger vi appens nytte ved en brugerundersøgelse med seks forældre til børn med ADHD. Resultaterne bekræfter, at appen giver et tydeligt overblik over de registrerede forhold, hjælper forældre med bedre at forstå barnets adfærd, skaber muligheder for samarbejde mellem forældre, pårørende og omsorgspersoner, og mindsker udfordringer ved papir- eller computerbaserede skemaer.
Healthcare professionals often ask parents of children with ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) to log daily medicine intake, behavior incidents, and side effects, but many find it hard to do consistently. We developed LogMe, a mobile app that helps parents track these items in a simple, organized way. This thesis evaluates LogMe's usefulness through a user study with six parents of children with ADHD. The findings confirm that the app offers a clear overview of what is recorded, supports a better understanding of the child's behavior, enables collaboration among parents, relatives, and caretakers, and reduces challenges seen with paper or computer-based forms.
