Abstract

In order to observe behavior changes and medication effect on children with ADHD, the health-care professionals usually request parents to keep track of different aspects during the day, such as medicine intake, behavior incident and side effects. To mitigate the problem of the lack of response to this request, we designed a mobile app - LogMe - that aims to support the parents in these tasks. In this thesis, we propose to demonstrate the usefulness of LogMe by conducting a user study with six parents of children with ADHD. The findings confirm the usefulness of the app, revealing that it provides overview of the registered aspects, facilitating a better understanding of the child's behavior, offers means for collaboration between parents, relatives and caretakers, and mitigates challenges observed with the use of paper or computer-based schemes.
