Dette projekt undersøger StrollAway som et Mobility-as-a-Service-koncept: en kontaktløs barnevognsudlejning integreret i lufthavne og andre transportknudepunkter for at reducere rejsefriktion for familier. Det centrale spørgsmål er, om en sådan service kan opnå problem–løsnings-fit, driftsmæssig gennemførlighed og strategisk skalerbarhed under høj usikkerhed og stramme infrastrukturelle rammer. Et eksplorativt forskningsdesign kombinerer ekspertinterviews, spørgeskemadata samt tidlige løsning- og MVP-valideringer med teoretiske perspektiver på serviceinnovation, Jobs-to-be-Done, Value Proposition Design, produkt–service-systemer og effectuation. Markedsfit-analyse blev anvendt til at vurdere efterspørgselspotentiale, og operationelle og institutionelle forhold—herunder infrastrukturadgang og hygiejne—blev undersøgt som nøgleforudsætninger. This project examines the feasibility of StrollAway as a Mobility-as-a-Service concept: a contactless stroller-rental service embedded in airports and other transport hubs to reduce travel friction for families. The core question is whether such a service can achieve problem–solution fit, operational feasibility, and strategic scalability under high uncertainty and stringent infrastructure constraints. An exploratory research design combined expert interviews, survey data, and early-stage solution and MVP validation with theoretical lenses from service innovation, Jobs-to-be-Done, Value Proposition Design, product–service systems, and effectuation. Market-fit analysis assessed demand potential, and operational and institutional factors—such as infrastructure access and hygiene—were examined as key enablers. Findings indicate clear perceived value among parents if cleanliness, ease of use, and reliability are assured. While the concept shows promising potential, viability hinges on acceptance by airport stakeholders; accordingly, a pivot to transport hubs with lower regulatory barriers is outlined. The project also proposes an operational design (system architecture, hygiene protocols, logistics, and KPIs) and an exit strategy via strategic partnerships or acquisition by players such as Smarte Carte.
