Abstract
Afhandlingen undersøger, hvordan havneliv og byliv kan bindes bedre sammen i Thisted. Mange sejlere ønsker at lægge til tæt på byens tilbud og service. Projektet foreslår at udvide Thisted Havn ved at omdanne en fragtkaj til marinaområde. Det vil bringe sejlere og besøgende tættere på byen og gøre adgangen til vandet lettere for beboere og gæster. En ny facilitetsmole tænkes som et åbent samlingspunkt med kulturelle indslag, hvor alle er velkomne.
This thesis explores how to better connect marina life with the city in Thisted. Many sailors seek moorings close to urban services. The project proposes expanding Thisted Harbor by converting a cargo pier into a marina area. This would bring boats and visitors closer to the city and make the waterfront more accessible to residents.
