Abstract
Danske undervandsjægere havde svært ved at dele relevant viden, for eksempel fangstrapporter, med deres fællesskab. Samtidig indsamlede Fiskeatlas, et borgerforskningsprojekt hvor offentligheden bidrager til forskning, lignende data. Denne afhandling beskriver, hvordan vi tog initiativ til og etablerede et samarbejde mellem undervandsjægere og forskere fra Fiskeatlas. Vi formulerede et videnskabeligt mål og definerede krav til en app, der kan indsamle data fra undervandsjægere og levere dem til Fiskeatlas’ forskere. Med brug af anerkendte softwareudviklingsmetoder og tests af brugeroplevelse (UX) udviklede vi en prototype, som blev afleveret ved projektets afslutning.
Danish spearfishers struggled to share relevant information, such as catch reports, within their community. At the same time, Fiskeatlas, a citizen science project where the public contributes to research, was collecting similar data. This thesis documents how we initiated and set up a collaboration between spearfishers and Fiskeatlas scientists. We defined a scientific goal and specified requirements for an app that would collect data from spearfishers and deliver it to the Fiskeatlas team. Using established software development methods and user experience (UX) testing, we developed and delivered a prototype by the end of the project.
