Abstract

This report explores the possible value of in-depth analysis of the individual dimensions of User Experience. An analysis is made of how “Emotion” should be understood in the context of HCI, resulting in the identification of relevant variables and the relationship between them. The knowledge of this dimension is then shown to be of practical value, through its application in the development of a Usability Evaluation Method. The developed method was tested in an experiment, and showed promising results.
