Abstract

Grænseoverskridende virksomhedshandler kræver ofte flere metoder og værktøjer for at håndtere forandringer efter et opkøb og for at integrere organisationer. Denne afhandling sammenligner casestudier for at identificere de vigtigste strategier og ledelsesbeslutninger i arbejdet med forandringsledelse efter opkøb (post-acquisition change management) og integrationsstrategier. Målet er at tydeliggøre, hvordan disse tilgange fungerer på tværs af lande, og at vise, hvad den eksisterende teori bidrager med til forståelsen.

Cross-border business deals often require several methods and tools to manage changes after an acquisition and to bring organizations together. This thesis compares case studies to identify key strategies and leadership decisions in post-acquisition change management (managing organizational change after an acquisition) and integration strategies. The aim is to clarify how these approaches work in international settings and to show what existing theory contributes to understanding them.
