Abstract

Dette speciale undersøger, hvordan en aggregator—en virksomhed, der samler og koordinerer mange kunders energianlæg—kan drive disse aktiver mere effektivt og skabe profit, samtidig med at der tages højde for svingende elpriser på Day-Ahead-markedet (hvor priser fastsættes dagen før levering). Arbejdet analyserer også begrebet energiklynge (energifællesskab) og belyser, hvordan aggregering kan gavne både elhandelsvirksomheden og fællesskabets medlemmer ved at hjælpe dem med at mindske deres afhængighed af energi udefra. This thesis examines how an energy aggregator—a company that coordinates many customers’ energy assets—can operate those assets more efficiently to earn profits while accounting for the volatile prices on the electricity Day-Ahead Market (where prices are set a day before delivery). It also analyzes the concept of an energy cluster (energy community) and explores how aggregation can benefit both the electricity retailer and community members by helping them reduce reliance on external energy sources. Using simulations, the thesis evaluates the impact of price incentives and optimization algorithms and considers how further developing a local microgrid—by adding new installations—could support these aims.
