Abstract
This master’s thesis from the Building Energy Design program at Aalborg University examines draught—uncomfortable indoor air currents—linked to a new natural ventilation panel called Notech. Natural ventilation uses outdoor air without mechanical fans; the panel is intended to bring fresh air indoors. The study conducts a series of controlled laboratory experiments to understand how the panel currently performs and where it falls short. It also seeks a suitable way to evaluate the panel and develops improvement proposals based on earlier findings. The results are intended to give the developers a clearer picture of the system’s behavior and to guide future optimization of the panel.
