Abstract
Zofia Zelazny's master's thesis explores experience design—shaping how visitors move and feel in an exhibition—in the setting of a historical museum. It proposes a design for the New Danish Resistance Museum in Churchill Park, Copenhagen, developed in response to a 2014 invitation-only competition announced by the National Museum and the Ministry of Culture. The project aims to create a city landmark that tells stories of the struggle for freedom during the Nazi occupation. The exhibition is staged as an architectural narrative that evokes the fear and tension of wartime. The design follows a tectonic approach—integrating structural and aesthetic principles—to create a massive, monumental expression.
