Abstract
Dette speciale udvikler et forslag til Morsø Kommunes arkitektkonkurrence 'Center for Oplevelse og Vandsport'. Forslaget, 'Mors Ø' – et maritimt center og en østersrestaurant – er placeret i Nykøbing Mors på øen Mors i Limfjorden i Nordjylland. Arbejdet er en del af kandidatuddannelsen i Bæredygtig Arkitektur ved Aalborg Universitet og bruger en tværfaglig arkitekt-ingeniør-tilgang, der kombinerer arkitektonisk design med ingeniørfaglig viden. Målet er at skabe meningsfuld arkitektur, der giver værdi for lokalsamfundet, bygherren og bygningens brugere. Gennem processen er byens kontekst og dens forhold til fjorden, oplevelsen af rum, indeklima (fx lys, luft og temperatur) samt bygningens bæredygtighed og miljøpåvirkning undersøgt. This thesis develops a proposal for Morsø Municipality’s architectural competition 'Center for Experience and Water Sports.' The proposal, 'Mors Ø'—a maritime center and oyster restaurant—is located in Nykøbing Mors on the island of Mors in Limfjorden, Northern Jutland. The work is part of the Sustainable Architecture master’s program at Aalborg University and uses an interdisciplinary architect-engineer approach that combines architectural design with building engineering.
