Abstract
Dette speciale præsenterer designet af et mobilspil til medlemmer af Narcotics Anonymous, især personer i recovery. Målet er at støtte deres bedring, hjælpe dem med at flytte opmærksomheden i perioder med cravings, og styrke et fællesskab hvor man støtter hinanden. Projektet anvender en designbaseret forsknings tilgang, som kobler praktisk udvikling med et tydeligt teoretisk grundlag. Den teoretiske ramme gav klarhed over, hvad der skulle ske i hver del af løsningen, og guidede både kravafdækning, analyse og selve udformningen. Designet er inspireret af teorien om praksisfællesskaber, hvor mennesker lærer og støtter hinanden gennem fælles aktiviteter. Med afsæt i Narcotics Anonymous’ traditioner, trin og møder skal spillet fremme samtaler mellem NA-kasserere og personer i recovery samt deltagerne imellem. This thesis presents the design of a mobile game for members of Narcotics Anonymous, especially people in recovery. Its goals are to support recovery, help users shift their attention during craving periods, and strengthen a supportive community. The project uses a design-based research approach that connects practical development with a clear theoretical foundation. This framework clarified what should happen in each part of the solution and guided requirements analysis, evaluation, and the resulting design. The design is informed by the Community of Practice theory, in which people learn and support one another through shared activities. Building on Narcotics Anonymous traditions, steps, and meetings, the game is intended to facilitate conversations between NA treasurers and people in recovery, as well as among recovering members themselves. By using a familiar medium—a mobile video game—the solution aims to help users redirect attention during cravings, encourage health-promoting choices, and build stronger peer support.
