Abstract

Dette projekt beskriver den tværfaglige udvikling af et bæredygtigt boligkompleks på havnefronten i Midsund på Norges vestkyst. Det blev gennemført i samarbejde med den lokale entreprenør Røberg Bygg A/S, som ønsker at bygge på en nyudlagt grund. Målet var at skabe et realiserbart, miljømæssigt ansvarligt design, der forbedrer hverdagskomfort og livskvalitet ved at udnytte stedets naturlige ressourcer. Disse lokale forhold har været styrende for udformningen, så projektet harmonerer med omgivelserne. Analyser af forventet energiforbrug og indeklima blev udført gennem flere designiterationer, og det endelige forslag blev verificeret ved hjælp af BE18 og BSim, som er software til at simulere energiforbrug og indeklima.

This project describes the multidisciplinary development of a sustainable housing complex on the harbourfront in Midsund, on Norway’s west coast. It was carried out with the local construction company Røberg Bygg A/S, which plans to build on a newly designated site. The aim was to create a buildable, environmentally responsible design that improves everyday comfort and quality of life by making use of the site’s natural resources. These local conditions guided the design so it fits harmoniously with its surroundings. Analyses of expected energy use and indoor environmental quality were conducted through several design iterations, and the final proposal was verified using BE18 and BSim, software that simulates energy consumption and indoor climate.
