Denne afhandling undersøger, hvordan matchmoving—en filmteknik, der justerer 3D-modeller til levende optagelser, så de fremstår som en del af scenen—kan supplere nutidens metoder i arkitektonisk visualisering (3D-stillbilleder og 3D-animationer). Studiet gennemgår historien og teknikken bag matchmoving, formålet og historien om arkitektonisk visualisering i branchen, konceptet Faction (at blande faktiske optagelser med konstruerede visuelle elementer), filmteknikker samt interviews med visualiseringsvirksomheder. This thesis examines how matchmoving—a technique that aligns 3D models with live-action footage so they appear part of the scene—could complement current architectural visualization methods (3D stills and 3D animations). The study reviews the history and technique of matchmoving, the role and history of architectural visualization in the industry, the concept called Faction (mixing factual footage with constructed visuals), film techniques, and includes interviews with visualization companies.
