Abstract
This thesis was conducted in collaboration with MAN Diesel & Turbo, Frederikshavn. The focus has been on the internal logistics and part supply to the future production. Through interviews, observations and literature reviews, shortcomings were detected in the current procedures. Further analysis resulted in suggestions to improve the situation. Communication needs to be established between the production and the warehousing departments; the company should make demands to suppliers concerning packaging and delivery amounts; lineside supply should be reduced based on consumption rates.
