Abstract

This thesis examines how lighting can improve working conditions in an existing office at HeSaLight A/S in Roskilde, Denmark. Against the backdrop of a shift from single-user offices to flexible open-plan spaces and growing attention to both sustainability and health, the project addresses balancing daylight and electric light, energy use, glare control, and the circadian rhythm. The research question is: How can a lighting solution be created to improve working conditions in HeSaLight’s Sales Office, which also functions as a showroom? The current setup with pendant LED fixtures for general and task lighting is deemed not to reflect the company’s ambitions. Denne afhandling undersøger, hvordan belysning kan forbedre arbejdsvilkår i et eksisterende kontor hos HeSaLight A/S i Roskilde, Danmark. Med udgangspunkt i skiftet fra enkeltmandskontorer til fleksible, åbne miljøer og i en voksende bevidsthed om både bæredygtighed og sundhed, adresserer projektet balancen mellem dagslys og elektrisk lys, energiforbrug, blændingskontrol og den cirkadiske rytme.
