Abstract
This thesis investigates the justificatory narratives that founders of early-stage platform businesses use to support important decisions about products, design, and market entry under uncertainty. Put simply, it looks at the stories and reasons entrepreneurs develop to make sense of what to build, how to design it, and when and where to launch, especially when reliable data are limited. The thesis clarifies what these narratives are and why they can help structure and communicate decisions in the uncertain early stages.
