Abstract
In times of uncertainty and turbulent change, companies are seeking new ways to adapt to disruptive environments through service innovation. The following thesis seeks to research a way to integrate foresight and service design methods for service innovation and examine how both disciplines can contribute to new service reconfiguration. The author outlines research regarding the concept of innovation and its types, followed by an examination of similarities between disciplines and their joint capacity to examine and establish value co-creative contexts where companies can produce innovative ecosystems.
