Abstract
When markets are uncertain and change rapidly, companies look for new ways to adapt through service innovation. This thesis explores how to combine foresight (structured ways to explore possible futures) with service design (planning and improving services based on users’ needs) to support service innovation. It examines how these two fields can work together to reorganize existing services and create new ones. The thesis reviews what innovation means and its different types, identifies overlaps between foresight and service design, and discusses how, together, they can enable value co-creation and the development of innovative service ecosystems.
Når markedet er usikkert og forandrer sig hurtigt, søger virksomheder nye måder at tilpasse sig på gennem serviceinnovation. Denne afhandling undersøger, hvordan man kan kombinere foresight (systematiske måder at udforske mulige fremtider) med servicedesign (planlægning og forbedring af tjenester ud fra brugeres behov) for at støtte serviceinnovation. Den ser på, hvordan de to felter i fællesskab kan omlægge eksisterende tjenester og udvikle nye.
