Abstract
Dette kandidatspeciale i arkitektur ved Aalborg Universitet tager udgangspunkt i konkurrenceprogrammet for Ilulissat Isfjordcenter i Grønland. Specialet præsenterer et designforslag og den tilhørende designproces. Parallelt er der udviklet et værktøj til lysanalyse, som er brugt aktivt i processen. Arbejdet fokuserer på dagslys set fra et menneskeligt perspektiv—hvordan brugere oplever lyset—samt på termiske indeklimaforhold og komfort i et ekstremt arktisk klima. Designforslaget afspejler disse fokusområder og stedets særlige forhold.
This master's thesis in architecture at Aalborg University is based on the competition brief for the Ilulissat Icefjord Centre in Greenland. It presents a design proposal and the process behind it.
