Abstract
Dette speciale er udarbejdet ved Arkitektur, Design og Medieteknologi på Aalborg Universitet. Det undersøger og designer et 1.200 m2 boligprojekt på en 5 ha grund lige uden for Brønderslev i Nordjylland. Bygherrens ønske er en bolig med tilknyttet jagthytte. Projektet udspringer af en personlig interesse for boligarkitektur og for, hvordan vi kan lære gennem en tværfaglig forståelse af, hvordan vi bor og bygger. Fokus er på tektonisk design – altså hvordan bygningens dele samles og udtrykkes – kombineret med en holistisk tilgang til bæredygtighed. Med inspiration især fra australsk og skandinavisk arkitektur udvikles et tværfagligt design, der tilpasser sig naturen og vores hverdag.
This master’s thesis was completed at Architecture, Design and Media Technology, Aalborg University. It investigates and designs a 1,200 m2 residential project on a five-hectare site just outside Brønderslev in northern Denmark. The clients aim to create a home with an attached hunting retreat. The project grows out of a personal interest in housing design and in learning through a multidisciplinary understanding of how we live and build. The focus is on tectonic design—how the building’s parts are assembled and expressed—combined with a holistic approach to sustainability. Drawing mainly on Australian and Scandinavian architecture, it proposes an interdisciplinary design that adapts to the surrounding nature and everyday life.
