Homelessness strategies in France: the case study of Nantes

Abstract
This Master's thesis aims to deliver a strong case study analysis of the strategy to fight homelessness in Nantes. To do so, the thesis gives an understanding of what is homelessness, with peculiar attention to its causes, to then observes the mechanics used by numerous homelessness strategy to prevent homelessness, reduce its numbers or relieve partially its effects. The Housing First method and the Finnish strategy in particular are considered. This overview of strategies allows then to build a framework to analyse the various actions and existing plans in Nantes, and give critical feedback on these.
