Abstract
The following master thesis represents a proposal towards a future development of a hybridization of modern agriculture and urban cityscapes. The thesis presents the potential of utilizing and transforming an urban monofunctional parking structure into a multifunctional cultivation center which regenerates the space into an urban catalyst in the city of Aalborg. It explores and investigates how we can integrate sustainable and innovative cultivation techniques to serve the practical purpose of providing food, while encouraging to rediscover the infrastructure of modern food systems through food literacy related programs.
