Yderområder i Danmark er under forandring. Dette projekt bygger videre på de særlige potentialer i Sydhavnen i Thisted. Det foreslår Fjordbyen: et socialt samlingspunkt i form af en lille landsby af maritime huse placeret, hvor land og vand mødes. I nærheden af marinaen skal projektet styrke det lokale maritime fællesskab og bevare den enestående udsigt mod Limfjorden. Målet er at skabe et åbent og indbydende sted, der bringer mennesker sammen på Sydhavnen.
Many outlying areas of Denmark are changing. This project builds on the distinctive potential of Sydhavnen in Thisted. It proposes Fjordbyen, a social gathering place formed as a small village of maritime houses set where land meets water.
