Abstract
This Master Thesis investigates the fault analysis for different types of faults events through the offshore wind farm electrical system including the onshore, offshore and the transmission HVDC line. An offshore wind farm electrical system is suggested and different study cases are executed. A detailed discussion of the system behavior during the fault period is presented and the reflected effects on the faulted and the healthy part of the electrical system for the offshore wind farm are identified.
