Abstract
This master's thesis presents an architectural design proposal for a hospice on the outskirts of Skanderborg. The project focuses on how the building's physical setting can offer relief and support to patients and their families. The design translates theories of Nordic architecture and healing architecture into concrete spaces. These approaches use design to promote comfort and well-being.
