Abstract
The ESSENCE methodology is designedto improve the reflective process of devel-opment projects, enabling developmentteams to understand multiple aspects ofthe project and move in an appropriatedirection. In this work, I document theexperience of using ESSENCE in a devel-opment project, in order to understandthe benefits and drawbacks of ESSENCEand to identify possible elements thatcould be modified in order to improve theutility of ESSENCE.
