Abstract
This thesis presents a case study of Eastern European students living in Denmark. It explores how they experience the process of becoming part of Danish society, both at university and in everyday life. The study highlights common challenges such as language barriers, differences in social norms, and building local networks, as well as factors that can help them feel included. Drawing on students’ own accounts, it sheds light on the practical and emotional sides of integration and what it may take to feel at home in a new country.
