Abstract

Live events are becoming more popular, and the industry is growing rapidly. Companies that plan and run these events struggle to keep track of increasing amounts of equipment throughout the process. This leads to missing or lost items and time wasted on locating and moving them. Current methods for tracking equipment during the workflow are impractical, so a better solution is needed. This project proposes Duco, a product–service system (a combination of a physical device and a digital service) that improves overview and control from start to finish. Duco consists of a new device called an E-tourlabel and an app used to operate it.
