Abstract

Cameroonians move to Denmark for several reasons, including better economic opportunities, family reunification, and studies that can lead to a Green Card, which helps them look for work. As more people settle long term, they form diaspora communities—groups of migrants who build a life in the host country while keeping ties to their homeland. These communities support integration and connection by organizing cultural festivals and national day celebrations, often coordinated by the Association of all Cameroonians in Denmark (ACAD).
